Convenience Store Woman. Reissue
Keiko Furukura has always been strange. Since childhood, she did not understand how to behave properly in society, and the world seemed foreign and incomprehensible to her. Everything changed when she got a job at a convenience store — a 24-hour shop where every step is governed by strict rules. For Keiko, working at the convenience store is not just a routine but a structured system where everything is predictable and orderly. But others don't understand her choice. Family and friends believe that after thirty one should build a “normal” life: get married, find a “real” job. Under societal pressure, Keiko begins to wonder — is she living correctly? Or will trying to meet others’ expectations destroy her fragile world?
