ILLEGAL CONSUMPTION OF NARCOTIC DRUGS, PSYCHOTROPIC SUBSTANCES, THEIR ANALOGUES CAUSES HARM TO HEALTH, THEIR ILLEGAL TURNOVER IS PROHIBITED AND ENTAILS RESPONSIBILITY ESTABLISHED BY LEGISLATION. In modern society, the idea of individualism dominates, but loneliness is often perceived as a personal failure. We discover in ourselves a desire simultaneously for freedom and closeness, as clearly shown by the experience of isolation during the pandemic. In his essays, German writer and journalist Daniel Schreiber examines this apparent paradox, referring to the works of philosophers (from Aristotle and Michel Foucault to Hannah Arendt and Gilles Deleuze), literature (from Jane Austen to Annie Ernaux), current research of practicing psychotherapists, and even popular sitcoms. He comes to the hopeful thought that creating hierarchies from life models may not be the best idea and that the word "loneliness" corresponds not only to dark tones.
