Year 2020. An infected mouse escapes from the Institute of Functional Immortality, where a life extension treatment for Putin is being developed. Moscow experiences an apocalypse: most of the city's inhabitants die, some survive, and the rest turn into zombies. Now they can hardly see — but run fast, hunt in packs, hear keenly, and smell very well. The protagonists are survivors caught by the apocalypse in different parts of Moscow. They don’t know each other but move in one direction — where it is still possible to escape.
